June 2, 2025 – Islamabad: The federal government of Pakistan has reported that for Eid ul Adha 2025 there will be a four day public holiday which is very welcome news for the citizens. As per a report put out by the Cabinet Division on Monday Eid ul Adha holidays 2025 in Pakistan will be June 6 (Friday) to June 9 (Monday).
The announcement reports that these holidays include both which do a five day work week and those that do a six day cycle. This decision also includes a long break which in turn will see the public at large engage in religious practices, family get togethers, and in the traditional sacrifice which is a part of Eid ul Adha.
Balochistan Govt Issues Separate Eid Holiday Schedule
In the federal level which has declared four public holidays the Balochistan government has gone with a different schedule. In a notice from the Services General Administration Department it was brought out that Eid ul Adha holidays 2025 in Balochistan will start a day early from June 5 (Thursday) to June 8 (Sunday).
Also it is reported that in the Balochistan order all government employees are to go back to work on the 3rd day of Eid which is coming Sunday, June 8. This decision is a result of regional administrative preferences and logistic issues.
